History and culture at Hotel Goldene Rose

The MMM Ripa Museum
The MMM Ripa Museum at the Brunico Castle is one of five institutions that make up the Messner Mountain Museum focussing on a mountain theme. The former summer residence of the Prince Bishops, now displays mountain life for people from Asia, Africa, South America and Europe. The focus is on the culture and spirituality of mountain people.
The Provincial Museum of Ethnography
The Provincial Museum of of Ethnography is located in Teodone near Brunico. The museum illustrates the ever-changing conditions of life throughout history and key areas of popular culture.
The Brunico Civic Museum
Located in the now restored and adapted stables of the Posta, where horses and stagecoaches were once kept centuries ago, the Brunico Civic Museum of Graphic Art was opened in 1995.
Temporary exhibitions are set up on the first floor, while the archive is located in the basement below with a graphic design studio for exhibitions of young artists.
